There are four steps in the Customer Development process. These
four steps are customer discovery, customer validation, customer
creation, and company building. There are 14 rules that make up the
Customer Development Manifesto. In my opinion, I think that all of
them are very important but the one that is the most relevant and
critical for founders is number five. This rule says that no
business plan survives the first contact. I think it is very
important for an entrepreneur to understand that failure and
hardships are going to happen along the way. A lot of times when
people see that things do not work out for them right away, they
just give up. As a founder and an entrepreneur, giving up is not an
option if they want their business plan to work. If you look at
some of the biggest companies that exist today, they all faced
failure and hardships at some point but kept working through that.
Determination and attitude towards failure are what separates a
great business from others. To me, it is the most critical rule a
founder has to follow.
Completely agree with the above statement, as being an entrepreneur is not easy and success doens't comes cheap. There are many entrepreneurs who at a point of time in life apni lost the hope of being a successful person but what differentiated them from other is that never giving up attitude.
If we take the example of Steve jobs, when he said he'll introduce a touch screen phone,at first everyone laughed at him but now apple is trend setter.
Ups and downs are always going to be there in life but one should never give up in order to succeed.
