Social environment includes physical surroundings, community resources, and social relationships. The physical environment comprises of healthcare, education and sanitation facilities, community resources implies organization and political structure where a poor and underdeveloped community would have a negative influence on child development and social relationship includes interaction with individuals and social groups and help in building social capital. Hence parents decision regarding where to live, work and socialize determines the social environment of the child. The foremost relationships that a child builds are within family and quality of those social relationships develop the well being of the child.
