how does a bill become a law and where does the public have a say in the process?

So If a bill has been passed in both the United States, House of Representatives, and the United State Senate and then it has to be approved by the President, and now the bill becomes a law and it is enforced by the government all around the country, on looking into the impact of the public in the process we can say definitely public consideration are also taken through their respective representative leaders and it is also being discussed on the all-important issue which can affect in the long run thus definitely even if we don't have any direct say in the process but still we can look into it by using the government right given to us through our selected representative member.
