Courts of limited jurisdiction deals only particular segment of gases such as bankruptcy, family issues etc. However, courts of general jurisdiction take up any type of civil or criminal cases if that is not exclusive to any other courts. Courts of limited jurisdiction get to derive power from a particular issuing authority where they have to be accountable to use the power from that authority while courts of general jurisdiction might not derives power from a particular issuing authority. courts of limited jurisdiction are relatively small in size and have people with limited experience when compared to that of the courts of general jurisdiction.
