Post your thoughts about the following quote: "Unemployment is bad for the unemployed individual and bad for the nation. Hence the government ought to eliminate all unemployment."

Unemployment is bad for an individual and for the nation too. The unemployment reduces the standard of living of an individual as it would reduce the ability to afford things in order to lead to life. The unemployment also affects a nation in terms of GDP, demand for finished goods and burden to provide unemployment benefits. But in reality it is difficult to have of zero unemployment as many of them would be temporarily out of job or would be looking for new job. So it is practically not possible to have zero unemployment.
