According Keynes during recession period to create demand in the economy government have to spend more and more on capital expenditure as well as Welfare program expenditure to create demand through create jobs by mean of increasing output or gdp of the economy.

During covid 19 crisis major countries government has gave fiscal and monetary stimulus package to increase expenditure in the economy and create demand.

Town hall discussion may be about USA fiscal stimulus package according Keynesian theory of creating demand through government expenditure.
