It is known worldwide that counting patents registered don't give an accurate measurement of output.In simple language ideas can not be patented.There is not even a single way to protect an idea with intellectual property protection.Both copyrights and patents do not protect the ideas.However we know idea is the basic step of any invention, without an idea one can not do any further steps of an invention.But still idea doesnot hold any monetarily value,therefore ideas are free .

So in short ideas can not be protected.Patent rights can be done for the inventions but not for the ideas.So you need to have an invention .The trail journey can be given as from ideas to inventions and then from invention to patents.Many people get an ideas in their life but it matters for them who know how to turn out their ideas to inventions and make money .Therefore patents registered dont give us the exact information about the ideas ..

Social value of ideas are nothing but done by the organisations by funding into charitable projects.It has become an integral part of every buisness life.It inculcates the social values in the employees.It develops the feelings of respect for each other in an organisation.Develops honesty, responsibility and cooperation in the behaviour of an employees.Therefore it becomes important factor from every perspective at an organisations.
