to describe the web services based on OGSI.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

A) Web services are the main enabler for grid computing. This is because of the loose nature of these services. These services create a loosely coupled environment for distributed applications. This is how the grid computing operates. That is with many computers over the network working together. These computers can easily use software services using web services over the internet. It also provides standardized messaging using XML to help in communication between them.

B) OGSI deals with grid service definition and other mechanisms for handling the information between grids. There are two main requirements are the following:

1. First requirement is the description of interface inheritance. This concept is very important in almost all the distributed systems.

2. Second requirement is the additional data elements that are needed for interface definitions.
