Answer #1

Answer)
Media access control (MAC) is a part of the data link layer which is part of the OSI network model. The Media access control is used for the transmission of the data packets from and to the network interface and from and to another remote shared channel. It is a hardware address which is used to identify the nodes of the network. The media access control is unimportant when the computers share the information communication circuit and thus the point-to-point configuration with the half-duplex configuration which makes the computer behave to take turns for attempting to transmit the data. Thus the media access control is unimportant in the above scenario.
