Define Integrity and Nonrepudiation?
Hi, I hope you are doing well.
Integrity: It is defined as the assurance mechanism that ensures that the message that was sent is exactly same as the message that is received by the end users or not. It can be any type of transaction or provisioning information too. Lets take an example of document that represent indentity credentials to trust those we must be able to verify this therefore there are some encryption protocol used for the security which cannot be channged by any third party between sender and receiver.
Non-Repudiation: This term is also an assurance mechanism that gives a proof of the integrity and origin of data to end users and someone cannot deny the validity of something. This is a legal concept and widely used for security of information. Example for this can be a blockchain in which bitcoins are moved from one person to another.
