Homework Answers

Answer #1

The Wide Area Network is basically described as a large network of telecommunications in a large geographical area. It is mainly associated with leased connections.

There is another term that is WWAN (Wireless Wide Area Network) which deals with wireless connections.

So, WAN has just wired kinds of connections, and the wireless access method is managed by WWAN.
