Hello! I have some questions related to Ansys Fluent, I have just started learning about it:
1. What is multiphase? When do we use it or turn it on?

2. When do we need to turn the energy on?

3. If I discuss about the air flow in the channel flow, should I turn on the gravity of the earth? g=9.81m/s2

● Understanding multiphase phenomena can be important for optimizing processes or products. Multiphase flow describe phase definition and flow classification.

It should turn on for flows with a high volume fraction of particles, where particle-particle interaction is important.

● When we want to analyze the liquids the energy eqation should be on and Pressure work and kinetic energy are accounted in that comdition.

3.

●  Yes you must turn on the gravity if you analysing any fluid (Gas,water,oil) in open channel flow.
