after creep concrete happening.. how can we solve or cure the problem( the question is talking about after creep happen not what should we do in design stage
The basic thing behind creep is shrinkage. As the concrete gains strength, there is a gradual frying shrinkage which induces compression in concrete and the reinforcements and thus creep occurs.
To avoid creep or reduce the creep water content in the concrete mix must be limited. If water is limited then less shrinkage will take place and hence less creep.
Other way is application of large aggregates. Use of large aggregates will limit the cement paste requirement as the surface area will be less.
If compression steel is also used then creep reduces as it will reduce deflection and hence reduce creep due to sustained loading.
Curing should be properly done as it gives proper strength to concrete that too in early stages. Thus drying shrinkage will reduce which will further reduce the creep.
