List the three basic elements that might require alteration or modification to solve a noise problem

The basic elements of noise are source, transmission and reciever. To solve noise problem these three basic elements can be altered or modified. So these elements can be modified as following-

1- Source- Source can be modify or alter by replacement of old source equipments with new source equipments. Foam can absorb sound and walls can act as a barrier to modify existing system and decrease noise level in the system.

2- Transmission- Transmission is medium or path to transmit noise. This element can be modify by pathway alterations. Noise travels through smooth surfaces can be replace by dampening enclosures.

3- Reciever- It is a element that recieve the noise. To alter this element protective equipment can be used for example ear plugs or ear muffs.
