The chemical shift of signals in both h- mnr and c- mnr is the result of what attribute?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

H- NMR :

H-NMR attribute the number of non-equivalence prootns are present in the molecule

suppose ; the molecule CH3CH2CH2CH3 there are only two sets of protons those are both CH3's are same and both CH2's are same . we get two signals

but with the same molecular formula of the above compound (CH3)2CHCH3 will give 3 H-NMR peaks and (CH3)3CH will give only two peaks with different multiplicirty

C- NMR :

C-NMR attribute the number of non-equivalence carbons are present in the molecule

List and describe 6 nervous and chemical (both food contents and cellular secretions) signals that regulate GI function. For each, describe the initial stimulus for secretion, source tissue/cells, target tissues, and final effects of their activities. [Suggestion: Make a table for comparison, with a brief caption.]

Night shift: 2300-0700 h At the start of the night shift at 11 pm, Patient C had intravenous (IV) fluids of dextrose in water (D5W) continuing to infuse at 100 mL/h until 12:30 am, when it was discontinued by the nurse as per the prescriber’s order. Overnight, Patient C slept fairly well. However, at 3:45 am, Patient C experienced an episode of diarrhea measured for 135 mL and voided 230 mL. At 6:20 am, the morning oral medication was taken...
