Why is a sample conversion factor not possible when converting from Centigrade to Fahrenheit?
Because the scales are SHIFTED, meaning that we know how much 1 C is equivalent per F
but the setpoins re different, therefore we need to account for this...
Imagine having a scale in which
YOU and your FRIEND have each a ruler
the first rules measures A units and second one "B"
Note that 1 unit of A = 2 units of B
A startes in 0, B starts in 10...
then, when YOU measure 5; and FRIEND measures 5, this will not be the measure
since A units are not the same as B, and even though yu know the equivalences, your "zero" reference is different than that of your friend
so you must state that reference, which in Celcius/Farengheit is 32°F --> 0°C
