Do you factor in the value of your time when you price comparison shop? Why or why not?
Yes. I do value in time when I do price comparison shop. I work as a freelancer. I do get paid on hourly basis on the amount of work being carried out. When I go to shop, I compare the prices. I also check for the time I need to put in for price comparison and how much I may earn in the same time.
In this way, it helps me to make more practical decision.
Example: Price of a product is 100$ and if I will hunt, the best price I may get is 95$, then I will check whether it is worth to waste 5$ as the time spent on searching is high and I can earn much more than that in the same time.
So, it is always advisable to factor in value of time.
