if the vapor pressure of your unknown liquid at room temperature was given how could you correct for its presence upon cooling which resulted in an equilibrium between the liquid and the vapor?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

if the vapour pressure of unknown liquid at room temerature is given, then its presence can be corrected by condensation of liquid upon cooling, at its boiling point it will becomes vapour and upon cooling it becomes liquid, taht is the vapour- liquid equilibrium will be resulted. distillation is very important techniqe for seprating the components from the mixture, such vapour -liquid equilibrium is taken into consideration for constructing the distillation coloums for fractional distillation.
