A) In the give compounds first one is carboxylic acid and next one neutral hydrocarbon. So these two can be separated by base extraction. Because carboxylic acid is soluble in base but hydrocarbon is insoluble in base.
B) In the give compounds first one is base (tertiary amine) and next one neutral compound (ketone). So these two can be separated by acid extraction. Because amine is soluble in acid but aromatic ketone is insoluble in acid.
C) In the give compounds first one is ester and next one ketone, both are neutral compounds. So these two compounds can't be separated by acid or base extraction.
