Charle's law states that, at constant pressure, the volume occupied by the fixed mass of the gas is directly proportional to the temperature of the gas.

Its clear that in both Boyle's law and Charles law, Volume (V) is parameter corellated with P in one case and Temperature in another case.

Hence Volume is common denominator between Charles' law and Boyle’s law.
