if a typical tablet contains 325mg aspirin (the rest
is starch binder) how many tablets could you prepare from the
aspirin you made in lab? aspirin made in lab = 3.34g
Aspirin needed for one tablet = 325mg = 0.325g.
Aspirin made in the lab = 3.34g
No. of aspirin tablets that could be made from 3.34g aspirin =
= 10.28
Hence 10 tablets could be made from the aspirin prepared in the lab. ( We rounded off to 10 because the answer would be an integer and obviously the lower integer, because we won't be to make 11 tablets from aspirin that could produce only 10.28 tablets)
I hope this helped you.
