1. No, the insulin hormone is not bound to plasma proteins. This is because they are protein hormone which can easily be transported in blood without any requirement of plasma proteins.

2. The insulin hormone is removed from the body by liver and kidneys. The metabolism of insulin take place in liver where it is degraded into its simpler component which is amino acid. The metabolic end product of insulin is amino acid which make the protein.

3. Insulin half -life is 15 minutes. Therefore after 30 minutes it start to metabolize and degradation.
