Explain one or two important ways in which Hughes's history of the discovery of bat echolocation indicates that falsifying hypotheses can be difficult.
Echolocation is the phenomenon used by birds to navigate and find food in the dark. It relies on tge property of sound waves and echoes to determine the postion of object in space.Bats primarily use this phenomenon for their survival. For navigation, bats emit sound waves from their mouth and nose and when this waves strike an object,it bounces back and returns to the bat ears which it listenes and figues out the object, its size, its position.
Using this property ,scientist have been successful in devoloping Instruments like Radar, Sonar navigation system. etc.
So falsifyng hypothesis is too difficult .
