In this case, GM foods must be labeled because citizen have the right to know what they are actually consuming. There are some studies that stablish that selected group of GM foods can be harmful to our organism. However, it is not as common as some people think. The problem here is that a group of people want to consume natural food. Some of them are ecologist that believe that GM foods are harmful for the environment. Labeling the product will allow people to know what they are consuming.
