Viral infections include cold,flu,chest cold and more sore throats.They are more contagioius than bacterial infections.They spread very easily while bacterial infections do not spread as easily from one person to other.Prescribed course of antibiotics can kill most of the bacteria but it is not suitable for viral infections.Only the antiviral drugs works better for killing virus.It is very rare conditions that both bacteria and virus can be killed ,for an example sinusitis can be reduced by the antibiotic used for bacterial infections.But most of the cases drugs are completely different for both of them
