immune privilege:- It is defined as certion specific site present in the body that are able to tolerate the insertion of antigens without giving an inflammatory immune response.

immune privilege can be related to many tissues, and especially to new tissue antigens i.e tumor antigens and fetal antigens.that help to induce immune privilege for therapeutic purposes. this is applicable to both that introduce immune privilege in tissues such as allografts to prevent their rejection and to breaking privilege, eg: in tumors to promote their rejection
