squirrels are omnivores. they eat plants and meat. they like to eat fungi, seeds, nuts and fruits. they also caterpillars and even young snakes. their food habitat changes with a feeder. squirrels learn to eat what are provided by the feeder eventually. in the absence of feeder, Squirrel follow normal food cycle. the top Squirrel feeders are kaytee cedar, song bird essential etc... in the case of kaytee cedar, they are best quality and best rated. they are made from cidar. they can resist moisture and mold. they are easy to fill and they can be mounted in a tree or post. when a feeder arise these changes will definitely occur. the quality, quantity, way of providing etc.. always differ i the case of feeder. it is a continous process and have large benefits to the squirrel species.
