Homework Answers

Answer #1

Answer- The recommended amount of protein in females is 52 grams per day and for male it is 63 gram per day. With vegan diet itself ,the recommendation of protein can be easily met.

To correct the body protein level, salma should include high protein diet like soy and soy products like tofu, chickpeas, lentils, quinoa, almonds , chia seed, potatoes, beans, protein rich vegetables like broccoli, mushroom, kale.

Friuts ,fat and sugars donot provide much protein.

Thus by altering the diet plan by including more servings of protein rich food can be useful for her.

Hope this helps you. Thank you!?
