Answer (A): In the case of the women who is pregnant and will have twins should gain some of the weight. If the women has normal BMI that is 18.5 - 24.9, then the women should gain near about 37 to 54 pounds of weight. This would be the normal weight gain of the women having twins.

Answer (B) : There could be various complications or risk with the multiple fetus pregnancy. Some of the risk are:

  • Low birth weight
  • Preeclampsia
  • Intrauterine Growth restrictions
  • Preterm delivery.
