1. Infectious diseases are commonly transmitted through direct person-to-person contact. Transmission occurs when an infected person touches or exchanges body fluids with someone else. This can happen before an infected person is aware of the illness. Sexually transmitted diseases(STDs) can be transmitted this way.

2. Disease transmitted from Animals to Humans is called zoonotic diseases. A zoonosis  is an infectious disease that is transmitted between species from animals to humans. It occurs through media such as air (influenza) or through bites and saliva (rabies). In contrast, transmission can also occur via an intermediate species (referred to as a vector), which carry the disease pathogen without getting sick.
