5) when ever virus enters into the body . They invade a cell and takes over the genetic machinery of the host cell and starts producing the new viral proteins and these viral proteins produce new viral progeny . Due to this cycle virus invade the certain organ and shows its effect on the organ

i) virus attack on lungs :

Production of virus particles in the lungs causes destruction of alveoli of lungs . It causes decreased gaseous exchange and causes hypoxia

Dead cells accumulate in the alveoli and bronchi and decreased function of lungs

Symptoms include coughing , running nose , difficulty in breathing

ii)Virus attack on heart :

Virus attack on heart causes myocarditis .In this virus attacks the myocardium layer of the heart and causes inflammation of the heart layer

It causes delay of electrical signals and causes irregular heart rates , fatigue
