Explain the term “orthodromic propagation” in regards to action potentials
orthodomic propogation runs along the axons in anterograde direction away from the soma an dendrite.
in heart it moves in correct direction from artria to ventricles.
during axonal action potential the active depolarization moves towards the soma called antidromic and down to the axon called orthrodromic propogation
so its a action potential of the neurons or cells which is along the axons and away from soma is called orthodromic propogation
it moves from dendrites towards soma artria and ventricle of heart
