explanation- chemoreceptors are those receptors which give response to change in chemical constituents of blood like oxygen level, carbon dioxide level, pH etc. These chemoreceptors influence the vasomotor centre and thus help in maintaining oxygen level.

Peripheral chemoreceptors are situated in the carotid and aortic body.

These receptors are sensitive to lack of oxygen.

Thermoreceptors are sensitive to temperature change.

Osmoreceptors are sensitive to change in osmolarity of blood.

Baroreceptors give response to change in blood pressure.
