Cardiac tamponade restricts the filling and stroke volume of the right side of the heart before the left. Why is that?
Cardiac tamponade is the filling of the pericardial layer with fluid such that it can restrict the movements of the cardiac muscle in the body
It is more evident and prominent in the right side of the heart . The force of contracting and relaxation exerted by rightside if heart is less when compared to left side. This low contraction and relaxation force is easy to restrict , so it cause restrictions in value of right side movement than left side as contraction force is small .
This restriction in the movements of the right side quickly as compared to left side will Cause the reduction in stroke volume as the ability to relax and construct is low as the force of is low . This reduce the amount of blood coming out of right ventricle .
