Because the hemoglobin saturation of oxygen is directly proportional to the partial pressure of the oxygen.In lungs the partial pressure of the oxygen is very high than co2 and the Carbon dioxide leaves the hemoglobin and oxygen binds to ir.Through the pulmonary capillaries the oxygenated blood reaches left side of the heart.The partial pressure of oxygen is high than co2 in ghe the oxygenated blood.So its hemoglobin saturation also increases.
