A CAT SCAN (CT) is a radiographic process of producing images in small sections or slices, this medical technology is a great way to help physicians diagnose different diseases and disorders especially in the brain. A CT Scan can diagnose many different neurological diseases such as brain tumors, a few different types of brain tumors are glioblastoma, glioma, and meningioma. A glioblastoma is a tumor composed of developing glia and is the most common type of malignant brain tumor. A glioma is already composed of glia and can develop from four different types of cells. A meningioma is a tumor of meninges, usually benign and grows very slowly. A CT scan would show a white/ gray shaded spot on the CT scan to show cause for concern. Of course further diagnosis would be required. Depending on the severity of the tumor would depend on how many different types of doctors you would be referred to. But all diagnoses would be at a minimum referred to a neurologist. Other doctor referrals may include neuropathologists, neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons, neuro -oncologists, and radiation oncologists.
IN 2-3 LINES WHAT DO YOU AGREE AND HOW WOULD COMMENT?

A CT of the brain is a noninvasive diagnostic imaging procedure that uses special X-rays measurements to produce horizontal, or axial, images (often called slices) of the brain. Brain CT scans can provide more detailed information about brain tissue and brain structures than standard X-rays of the head, thus providing more data related to injuries and/or diseases of the brain.
During a brain CT, the X-ray beam moves in a circle around the body, allowing many different views of the brain.
