Are all body values under homeostatic control? Why or why not?
I am not sure what the question is asking, if someone could elaborate that'd be great.
Homeostasis is the human body mechanism through which it
maintains steady internal environment of the body. Homeostasis
maintains an optimum internal environment for adequate functioning
of the tissue cells.
Homeostasis is regulated through hypothalamus.
Homeostasis regulates almost every endocrine and exocrine
secretions, blood gas content, oxygen content, temperature,
respiration, blood pressure, neurotransmission, electrolyte and
water balance, energy balance, minerals.
Disruption in body homeostasis may cause these values to rise or
drop creating an imbalance in the body environment. This results in
pathological conditions like metabolic disorders, hormonal
imbalance, fever, blood disorders, immunodeficiency.
