Growth hormone is secreted by anterior pituitary and have function in normal growth and development.

GH hormone absence in the body of child will cause- Short stature,Low growth velocity, increased amount of fat around the waist,child will ook younger than other children of his or her age and delayed tooth development, lean body, easy fatigue, tiredness all time, slow mental growth, etc.

GH absence in the adults will cause-low energy status, Decreased strength and exercise intolerance, muscle mass is reduced, Weight gain due to fat,depression, low IQ, anxiety, etc.
