Dorsal stream of vision is otherwise known as where pathway. is recognizing where objects are in space. This pathway originates from the primary visual cortex in the occipital lobe forward into the parietal lobe.
The ventral stream (what stream)runs down from the visual cortex into the temporal lobe. and involved with visual identification and recognition. Both these streams are interconnected. It has connections with the limbic system and dorsal stream.
