Homework Answers

Answer #1

Ans:- d) lymph edema

As we all know that lymph drain via lymphatic capillaries to lymphatic vessels then to lymph node.

As lymph nodes are removed in the surgery drainage of lymphatics will be hampered leading to lymph edema.

Lymphopoiesis is the generation of lymphocytes, one of the five types of white blood cell. It is more formally known as lymphoid hematopoiesis.

As lypmphcytes are formed in bone marrow so there level will not be hampered by removal of lymph node. So option a,b,c are wrong.
