To count the number of numbers from one to hundred we consider the the following,

If A be a number between 0 to 99 then the one's place of A have 10 choices(0,1,...,9) and also the ten's place of A have 10 choices.

So we have 10×10 =100 numbers.

Now if we shift each number by adding 1 then we get number between 1 to 100.

Thus,

Number of numbers from 0 to 99 is 100 implies the number of numbers from one to hundred is hundred.
