The Rumelt evaluation method has four criteria for evaluating business strategies:-

  • Consistency. Rumelt believes that a successful strategy is impossible without consistency among all teams and departments within a company. ...
  • Adaptability.: here the organisation needs to evaluate it's ability to adapt the change in the business environment and how well the organisation adapting as compared to its competitor
  • Competitive Advantage.: One needs to have competitive advantages over other competitors so as to have and edge of competition. The organisations can bring in new , innovative, advanced technologies to be able to attract customers towards itself.
  • Feasibility.: any strategy selected and developed must be feasible practically, feasibility must be checked with respect to the human resource and budget to actually launch the strategy
