Trust that can own S corporation stock include tesamentary trusts - is a trust which arises upon the death of the testator and it is specified in his will, grantor trusts is one in which the grantor who creates the trust will retain certain power over the trust and therefore the income from the trust is taxable at his hands, Qualified Subchapter S Trusts(QSSTs) is a trust which require that there should be only one income beneficiary and distributions of principal can be made only to that beneficiary, these all trusts can own S corporation stock. Trusts cannot hold S corporation stock are charitable remainder unitrusts.
