In common usage (not statistics or biology), does calling a process random make it more or less predictable? How about more or less measurable? Give an example in a sentence and bear in mind there are no wrong answers, except a blank answer.
In common usage, calling a process random makes it less predictable. Let x1,x2,x3,.....xN be the N observations(N students of a class) of the population and we have to choose a sample of size 2. Now if the process in which the sample chosen is random there is an equal chance of choosing each observation (students). Now if the process is not random, some observations may be more preferable then the others(Someone may choose the 1st and the 2nd boy of the class). Which makes it more predictable.
