(a) Research Question:

Suppose we want to estimate the satisfaction code (0 indicates not all satisfactory to 10 indicates complete satisfaction) of all the impatients of the hospital.

(b) Population:

Suppose there 200 inpatients in the entire hospital. These 200 npatients form the population for this study.

(c) Sample:
Since it is difficult to get the responses from all the 200 onpatients, we collect a Sample 20 inpatients from the200 inpatients by the procedure described below.

(d) Method of selection of the sample:

Give Serial Number starting from 1 to 200 for all the inpatients of the hospital. Through Random Numbr generator, generate 20 random numbers from 1 to 200. Select inpatients with these 20 random numbers This set of 20 inpatients will be the desired sample for the study.
