To verify this statement we can apply hypothesis testing technique to get a conclusion based on statistical technique.

Since, we are restrict to the Dentists, so our study population will be Dentists of the that country or locality.

Since, response is attribute i.e yes or no. To get a numerical we can convert it into 1(yes) or 0(no).

To arrive at a certain conclusion we can estimate Proportion of doctors recommending mouthwash.

If this value is high, then we can conclude that majority of dentists recommend the use of mouthwash.
