For my Healthcare Statistics class....Consider two different data sets and then for each data set, propose your idea of what graph would best represent the key information. For each, be sure to include the type of graph along with what would be shown on each axis. The key data in the first data set is a list of all the injuries that a clinic saw in a month. The other data set has key data on the number of minutes that each patient spent in the waiting room of a doctor's office. You can make assumptions about other information or variables that are included in each data set. *Unfortunately, even doing all the reading, I do not understand anything in this class :(
For the first type of data, we should draw a pie chart.Because here we will have the data as, some names of injuries, and their counts. So we have total no. of injuries, and no. of individual injuries. Obviusly anyone would want to know what percentage of share a particular injury has in total. So, the pie diagram would be the best fit.
(If you dont know how to draw a pie diagram, let me know in the comment section.)
For, 2nd type of data, ie waiting time of patients, a column diagram would be perfect.
Here in this data we are interested in the count of time mainly, we don't have much interest in the order of the data. So, a column diagram would be perfect.
If order was important, we would have to use a line diagram.
If you still have any questions, let me know in the comment section. thank you.
