Suppose that you have two sets of data to work with. The first set is a list of all the injuries that were seen in a clinic in a month's time. The second set contains data on the number of minutes that each patient spent in the waiting room of a doctor's office. You can make assumptions about other information or variables that are included in each data set.

For each data set, propose your idea of how best to represent the key information. To organize your data would you choose to use a frequency table, a cumulative frequency table, or a relative frequency table? Why?

What type of graph would you use to display the organized data from each frequency distribution? What would be shown on each of the axes for each graph?

For my Healthcare Statistics class....Consider two different data sets and then for each data set, propose your idea of what graph would best represent the key information. For each, be sure to include the type of graph along with what would be shown on each axis. The key data in the first data set is a list of all the injuries that a clinic saw in a month. The other data set has key data on the number of minutes...

This week you will collect time measurements and organize your observed data into a frequency distribution table and a relative frequency histogram. Start by choosing something you can time easily in seconds. (Thing about events that typically take between 20 seconds and 3 minutes.) You will need to collect at least 30 observations. Be as consistent as you can with your time measurements. Most of you have smart phones with easy-to-use apps with timers already built in. If your measurements...

2. You have access to school health records for a small country. Data on students’ BMI is collected once, at the end of 2018. You are interested in prevalence of overweight and obesity at the different school levels. e. What is the prevalence of overweight or obesity in high school students? f. What proportion of normal weight children is in middle school? g. Create a frequency and relative frequency table for the weight status of elementary school students. h. Calculate...

You want to estimate E[x] and you have two datasets. In the first data set, there are 10 observations. In the second data set there are 100 observations, but these observations involve measurement errors. That is, X tilda = X + e, where e is a classical measurement error. You can only use one dataset, and you want to have a precise estimate in the sense of having a low variance. A) You should always use the first data set...
