Pressure = 99.1607 + 9.7122 * Depth

Coefficient of correlation = 0.9795

P value = 0.0006274

B) Interpretation of slope -

Whenever there is unit increase in the depth, there will be 9.7122 (kPa) increases in pressure and vice versa.

Interpretation of y intercept -

  The intercept ( labeled the constant) is the expected mean value of Y when all X=0. The y-intercept (that is, the point when x = 0) also refers to the starting value.

Simply when depth = 0 then y intercept is 99.1607 . It is only point of contact on y axis. PL??
