Misleading claims are a major issue when review results made
from another researcher or firm.
I have an example that is misleading
A truck company advertises 600 miles to a tank of gas on their
Family Truckster.
This sounds great, but what is the flaw in this claim? How is this
deceptive?
The flaw in this claim is that complete information is not
provided by the company which may be misleading for the
consumers.
This is deceptive because it is given that it runs 600 miles to a
tank but the exact amount of gas that is needed to run 600 miles is
not provided. It may be possible that very large quantity of gas
may be required to run 600 miles. Hence the claim is deceptive.
